A few weeks ago I highlighted three of my favorite, newly discovered (to me) female vloggers and since I really enjoyed writing that post, I decided I wanted to take show the men of YouTube some love this week! There are always new people to discover online so let me help you out and point out a few you may enjoy as much as I do!
This self-proclaimed “professional internet human” is definitely comes out on top. He is charming, smart and witty; his personality definitely shines through with ease to his viewers. Charlie was the first vlogger from the UK to reach 1 million subscribers back in June 2011. He currently has over two million subscribers to his channel charlieissocoollike. His first video was posted way back in 2007 and he and his brand has only continued to grow since then.
His uploads are varied in content which may range from his own ramblings to completing challenges his viewers and fans give him to music performances. Charlie is also in a band called Chameleon Circuit which play music related to the television show Doctor Who. He has also been involved in television and various musical projects and also completes a lot of charitable work that he promotes though his channel.
The future looks bright for Charlie, he is a great example of success on the internet as well as using his popularity to further his own life goals as well as his charity work.

I guess I am on an English kick today because the amazing Jack Harries is also from the UK! Jack was initially a child television star on Channel 4’s School of Comedy but has now switched to youtube and created his channel JacksGap which also features his twin brother Finn. JacksGap currently has over 3 million subscribers.
Initially the channel was created to document his ‘gap year’ after completing school. Jack has admitted the reason as to why he wanted to give vlogging a try and though it didn’t take off immediately.
“The idea of connecting with an audience out of my bedroom just blew my mind – and I wanted to give it a go. I thought nobody would watch a random kid making movies, and for four months, nobody did. Then I put Finn in a video and the views suddenly shot up.”
Unlike many of the YouTubers with many subscibers, Jack has not been on YouTube for a long period of time as his first video was posted in 2011.Jack remains unsure as to if he will continue to persue YouTube stardom as he has mentioned he would potentially like to branch out into television and film or possibly return to university.
Jack’s passion for filmmaking and exciting personality make for great watching and perfect YouTube entertainment.
